Hub4Food is focused on establishing an innovation hub for the Atlantic food sector.

It aims to enhance innovation ecosystem connections, the Research, Development, and Innovation (RDI) capacities of the Atlantic food industry, and to foster the development of new and improved food products, with a focus on marine origin.

(01) SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

S0.01

To develop a technology roadmap that outlines the potential for innovation and growth in the Atlantic food industry in the AA, and to act as a database of organisations in the field.

S0.02

To put in place a market-driven RDI programme to test and validate the feasibility of the pre-identified advanced technologies and products, between RTOs and SMEs.

S0.03

To set up a Business Innovation Facility, to provide services to a wide range of enterprises to help them overcome their main challenges and needs with the aim to improve their competitiveness in relation to the Atlantic Food sector, with focus on the marine one.

S0.04

To generate new knowledge and raise awareness around the food sector in the AA, by bringing together science, policy makers, and society as a whole in an impactful way.
